Learning About Landforms
Third graders recently finished learning about landforms and bodies of water. The students assisted their teachers, Mrs. Hitz and Mrs. Myers, in making "dough", forming the dough into hills, mountains, and plains. and placing their creations on foam trays. After drying, the landforms were painted green and brown, while a lake, river, and even the ocean was painted blue. Students then explained each feature depicted on their tray in front of their classmates.
