Summer Academic Activities that you can do at home

The following site is a one I recommend that you "check-out" for some summer drill opportunities.
This is a teacher's site that has printable activities for kids to do and reminders of June events worth looking into.
Also, when shopping for"Back to School" supplies, keep in mind that Junior High teachers require notebooks for their individual classes (ie. Science notebook, Math Homework notebook, Language Arts journal, etc.) So, look for bargain spirals with perforated edges. The pages may be torn free easily. It's always nice to have a smooth edge on pages removed to hand-in the the teacher. Students use 2-3 or more spirals per subject in a year's time.
