School Board
The LaHarpe Community District 347 School Board is responsible for governing the educational policy of the school. The School Board determines and rules school policy and employs the superintendent to enact it. The Superintendent, administrative staff and teachers are responsible for the day-to-day operations.
The School Board has its regular meetings at 7:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month, in the school library. Special meetings are scheduled for action or discussion on matters that cannot wait until the next regular meeting.
The LaHarpe Community District 347 School Board welcomes the public to its meetings. Public interest will help the School Board make decisions. Anyone may speak at School Board meetings. Your comments are most effective when you have asked to be on the agenda, and addressed to specific agenda items or matters of general concern. Matters pertaining to personnel issues are addressed in Closed Session only.
Agendas are available at the meetings, at the Central Office,or on the school website. The minutes of public meetings are also available at the Central Office and on the website after they have been adopted by the Board.
