2010 Family Fair
The 2010 Family Fair is less than two weeks away! The Hancock County Health Department's Planning Committee has been working very hard to plan another wonderful event for families in our area. This year's "Family Fiesta" fair is Saturday, February 13 from 9:00 am to 1:00 PM at the University of Illinois Extension Center in Carthage. The fair will consist of entertainment by the Hispanic dance troop, exhibitors with hands-on activities, storytelling in Spanish and English, real cactus samples, free lunch from 11 am to 1 PM, coloring contest exhibitors on display, pinatas, door prizes, and a session where children will learn Spanish words. Families can bring non-perishable food items for our local food pantry.
