Building Construction Update..November

November 18, 2011

Elementary – Junior High School Renovation
La Harpe CUSD NO. 347
La Harpe, IL 61450
Construction Schedule: May 23rd – September 30th
PROJECT NO.: 11006

Work done:
1. Masonry – Finished.
2. General Work – Doors, door hardware, ceiling tile.
3. Flooring – LVCT, VCT, carpet walls, carpet
4. Windows – Installed storefront systems and glazing.
5. Plumbing – Finished.
6. Mechanical – Startup on roof top and change air units. Boilers startup. Ductwork. Condensate
drains, boiler flues.
7. Electrical - Lighting installed and functioning in the lobby, bathrooms, north classrooms and
break/work room, boys’ locker room. Clocks and speakers.
8. Sprinkler – Certified system.
9. Studs and drywall – Ceiling grid, ceiling tile, drywall & plastering, priming and painting.
Work taking place:
1. Awaiting punchlist- Schlipman
2. Flooring – awaiting punchlist – Moore’s
3. Roofing – gutter, downspouts, and metal fascia. Addressing miscellaneous roof leaks. Geissler
4. Windows – preparing lock cylinders for school keying system. - Leander
5. Plumbing – Awaiting punchlist – Vinson and Sill
6. Mechanical – thermostats, unit start up. – Peters H & A
7. Electrical – Final lighting connections to stage, locker rooms, locker room offices, Data wiring
punch downs at data rack. - Jansen
8. Sprinkler – Awaiting punchlist. - Automatic
9. Stud & drywall – Awaiting punchlist. Schlipman.

Work to come:
1. General Work – Trophy case and tack board in lobby area and signage.
2. Flooring – one area of VCT, stairs at stage, and wall base
3. Roofing - Gutter and downspout and metal fascia.
4. Windows – Door closers and cylinder installation of front and rear aluminum storefronts.
5. Plumbing – Final inspection
6. Mechanical – Final startup on equipment, instruction to maintenance/staff.
7. Electrical – Exterior lighting, final data connections.
